Joonko relocates to Birmingham

Another innovative startup company has found its way to Birmingham. A technological-startup company called Joonko has moved its global headquarters from San Fransisco, California to Birmingham, Alabama after receiving an investment from the Alabama Futures Fund.

Joonko provides a software platform combining artificial intelligence, data mining of a company’s Applicant Tracking Systems and advanced data analytics to help companies find and hire candidates that reflect a more diverse workforce. The company also has a headquarters in Israel.

Joonko’s most popular product, Joonko Pool, creates a pool of pre-qualified, diverse candidates and improves the diversity in participating companies’ talent acquisition pipelines. It acts as fully-automated, integrating with a participating company’s applicant tracking system. It uses artificial intelligence to drive more diverse candidates to hire managers. More than 47 companies use this product at this time.
